Dry Rub Chicken Wings Recipe
Chicken wings without dipping sauce, that is a big mistake, instead of the traditional sauce, I use a homemade cream gorgonzola cheese sauce, gorgonzola cheese sauce with more butter, will produce an amazing taste.

Ingredients
- 24 chicken wings (drumettes / wingettes)
- 1 tbspn brown sugar
- 1/2 tspn ground black pepper
- 2 tbspns vegetable oil
- cooking spray
- 1 tspn chipotle powder
- 1 tspn chile powder
- 1 tspn oregano
- 1 tspn dry mustard
- 1/2 tspn seasoning salt
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3-6 tablespoon buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 -3 oz gorgonzola cheese (crumbled)
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
For Chicken Wings
- Start by heating the oven to 450 degrees.
- Next, coat the baking sheet with baking paper, place the cooling rack on the baking sheet, then set aside.
- Next, wash the wings using water, dry with a tissue.
- Use a bowl, put the chicken in a bowl, don't forget to coat it with oil.
- Beat brown sugar, chili powder, chipotle powder, oregano, seasoning salt, dry mustard, salt, and black pepper powder.
- Next, pour dry rub over the wings, making sure all parts of the chicken are coated very well, soak in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Cover the wire rack with cooking spray, then place each wing on the rack in one layer.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
- For Gorgonzola sauce, use a blender, add buttermilk, mayo, sour cream, gorgonzola cheese, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
- If the ingredients of the sauce are smooth, transfer to a serving bowl, stir in the remaining gorgonzola cheese, cover with plastic wrap, cool until ready to use.
