Easy Delicious Chow Mein Stir Fry Recipe

This is a very popular Chinese noodle dish, very easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients. When you serve a bowl of Chow Mein, you won't be able to miss it one bit.

Some people ask the similarity between Chow Mein and Lo Mein, there are some main differences between these two dishes. Chow Mein is sauteed / fried until crispy, while Lo Mein is boiled until cooked.
Both dishes are equally tasty, but some people prefer Chow Mein, because it is more tasty and flavorful. There is no need to argue between Chow Mein and Lo Mein, some people prefer lo mein, and some people prefer chow mein, that is a natural thing.
Chow Mein Stir Fry Recipe
To make the authentic taste of chow mein, you can find all the ingredients in an Asian grocery store, you can get noodles that are soft and crispy when fried. But, if you can't find it, you can replace it with fettucine noodles, lignuine, or even ramen.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1 tbspn soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tspns freshly grated ginger
- 1 Sriracha tspn
- 1 cup mung bean sprouts (rinsed and drained)
- 1 package pan-fried noodles (Hong Kong-style)
- Kosher salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tbspns canola oil
- 1 package Shiitake mushrooms
- 4 baby bok choy (chopped)
- First, use a small bowl, stir thoroughly the soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, sriracha, and ginger, then set aside.
- Use a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil, use medium heat, cook noodles and keep stirring for 3-4 minutes, set aside.
- Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a skillet, add the mushrooms and stir until soft for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir the bok choy until it wilts for 1 minute.
- Stir in the noodles and mix the oyster sauce evenly for 2 minutes.
- Serve on the table.
